Default how many spanners are you....?

with my xmas money - I finally bought the haynes book for my Vec.

it got me thinking, using the haynes system of measuring skill, what would we all be?

    I'm a 2 spanner, I would be 3 spanner if I had more room....lol

let me know what you are and why.

I think I should actually be a 4 spanner - if you look at bleeding the fuel system on a diesel, it lists it as a spanner job, which worried me as I was planning oon changing the fuel filter...

When I looked it up, it said I had to turn the ignition on, wait for 15 seconds, then try and start the engine...

    Repeat as required...

    No wonder Vauxhall hires muppets.....

I put down 4 spanners but having the right tools seems to be half my problem. If I had access to bigger, better and specialist tools, then I'd try anything to save money.

Somewhere between four and five spanners, I've built my own race car from a bare shell and had lots of cars and some engines apart and got them together aswell

I have the Haynes manual, and although at one time I'd have rated myself as 5 spanners, these days probably nil spanners for me..lol

Prefer to pay and let someone else use their spaners on the car. unless its just something simple.
