2.2 petrol mpg

Hi,

I just wanted to know what MPG a 2008 2.2 petrol Vectra Sri averages. Do you reckon that there is a huge difference between this and the 1.9 cdti 150??

27-30 around town and 34ish on a run

If you drive like miss daisy then 40, but this is hard as you have to stop/start etc.

Ave about 30mpg

Directs get a few more MPG. I get 360-380 out of a tank, I have managed nearly 500 once. It is about £50 to fill up at the moment.

I drove 417 miles (Farnborough to East Kilbride) a few weeks ago, sat around 80 mph, using my foot most of the time / then some miles on CC
got there with 70 miles left in the tank according to the computer

have a 2.2 direct petrol, usually get about 32 MPG on average, more on M/Way get between 300 - 400 depending on how heavy your right foot is, but wouldnt use supermarket fuel..

Ditto...and I use supermarket fuel!

my general useage - 20 miles each way commute, mainly A road, mine averages 36.7mpg. if my missus has it for a couple of days and uses it for short local journeys it can drop to 28mpg.

Mines a 2.2 Direct with K&N filter and modded airbox.

Mostly round town and not booting very often it do'es 27-32 mpg.

On longer runs up Motorways, cruise set at 75mph, 32-36 mpg.

Got this on one run upto Yorkshire but never bettered.
