    Default Plastic skuttle panel under wipers removal

    any hints on how to remove the plastic trim/skuttle panel under the wiper arms at the bottom of the windscreen? b4 some thing gets broken

    From what I remember , take the wipers off , then there is a rubber lip seal on the engine side which pulls off .
    Then very carefully pop the scuttle out of the windscreen on one side and work your way across , it sits in a plastic channel on the bottom of the glass.

    the plastic channel it sits in on the bottom of the screen its very tight be carfull not to crack the screen

    _same info as above but clean plastic channel out and smear a little grease in so you dont have to use as much force to reassemble if your not sure you knw where i am..... a 2 minute drive is better than a cracked screen

    I need to remove my wiper mechanism for diagnostics into fault with the wipers, so need to know how to remove the scuttle. I am a member but get not authorised every time I click the link

    I guess you would have but I have no idea how to access a car diary.

    FYI every time I click a link to a suggested fix or solution in the forum I get "you do not have access".
