Default Harsh ride quality with Falken 912s??

Not posted since Xmas so merry Xmas to you all!!! I've had full set of Falken 912s 225/45/17 94w fitted for well over a month now. For the price they are very impressive as they grip well in wet and dry. However I've found the ride quality to be awful compared to the Vredesteins 225/45s they replaced. When I made the switch from 215/50 to 225/45 over a year ago I did notice s slightly firmer ride but after a day or two I didn't really notice it. Since getting the Falkens fitted the car crashes over pot holes and feel fidgety. You can feel every imperfection in the road and TBH it's becoming annoying and uncomfortable. I'm running at 32psi now but it's still the same. Has anyone else noticed this with these tyres?? Thought it might have been with them being XL but the Vrdesteins were aswell. Any thoughts???

Will let you know, I've just had four fitted (18's). So far so good though!

Marky - looking at the Falken web site, the 912 in 225/45/17 size shows up as 225/45ZR17 94W XL. Seems you can only get that size of 912 in XL so these may give you a harsher ride as the side walls are designed for "extra load" and won't flex that much. http://www.falkentyres-uk.com/tyre-details.aspx?id=29

The 912 in "standard" 215/50/17 aren't XL, neither are the Falken 452 225/45/17. HTH

When I fitted XL it deffo gave a harsher ride but also made the car more positive as there's less flex in the side wall.
