No fans, 1, 2 , dont work?

im sure i once saw a thread on this but cant find it. my fans dont work on number 1 2 3 but do on 4? would this be a relay? stealers closed plus the cost to drive there would cost more than the relay its self? m8 told me relays shouldnt fail any way and there is likely to be a problem else where for it to fail? this true?

Resistor pack gone mate, the resistors make the fan run at slower speeds, they burn out. Changed one on my wifes Polo earlier this year & I'm sure there's a how to somewhere on the site

Looks a lot simpler than the Polo, the pack was behind the glove box, but had to start from the centre console & remove 1/2 the dash & the heater motor

no not yet. ive read that a blocked drain hole causes it? mines clear tho? plus no rain for a week?
