Mum's & Dad's Christmas present

Went to sort out a new tv & stand late on Tuesday afternoon (nothing like a bit of last minute shopping

)

Suprisingly, managed to get it in the Vectra...(next time we'll get a hatchback)

Got it all set up on Christmas Eve morning.....

Went from 32" Panasonic (had for about 7 or 8 years).......

To a Toshiba 42" LCD........

Yes Steve pretty good, but shame we have neighbours or it would cranked up even more

Good job these old houses have thick walls

It has 4 or 5 optical inputs,supports DTS, 6.1 surround mode (centre rear speaker) so with the right films...................wow

Some good films for 'testing' are:
Saving Private Ryan, Castaway (especially when he's on the plane

), Terminator 2 & Star Wars
