Default Get Dents Removed or Not?

The other half and I have decided we are going to sell her Fiat Punto. Thing is it has a dent on the drivers door caused by some pr*ick in Asda's car park and a dent on the rear wheel arch. Nothing major in both cases but they are obvious.

My question is - would it make more sense to get these removed before we sell it in the hope that we get more for the car or would we be better off selling as is?

The car's only worth £2.5 - £3k and I imagine it would cost about £150 - £200 to fix. It would also give me the opportunity to get a small ding removed from my door.

If we get it removed who would you recommend to do it?

    Cheers

    JKA

The better condition the car is in the less oppourtunities the potential buyers have got in driving your price down, so therefore I would get a price and if it is only 200 quid get it done. It may also be worth having a full valet done so as to give a good impression. Hope this helps and good luck!

Yeah, get it done, and the valet, even if you do it yourself, and dont forget to put a nice complimentary air freshner in as well, odour is key in a modern world, sell the house roast the coffee and cook the bread, sell the car, clean and fresh, seriously though a job lot repair shouldn't cost too much, I assume you will use a trick repairer rather than respray, and groan at the opening offer and say you really need to get about a grand more for it, then watch him run in the office with an improved offer, i did this recently and got a monkey off the screen and £650 px improvement, and the dealer still has 2k potential profit in my car if he sells it for his asking price.
