    Default sony tv wall backets

i thought i would enquire about a genuine sony wall bracket for my sony lcd tv,the price is £219 found one on ebay which is cheaper till you see the postage charge sony_wall_mount from america ebay says £91 so it is still cheaper to buy one from sony uk (free poatage at the mo) or i think i will buy one from another place,a universal mount, the reason why i need a tv mount is the tv mount i used on my last tv is very short on the space between the back of the tv and the wall,my last tv had all of its plugs and sockets on the side of the tv,the sony puts all of its plugs and sockets on the back, what a stupid design

Take a look at the Alcam range (you'll find them on eBay, although as usual I found them cheaper by going to the distributers direct) and if you get a tilting one you'll have the extra clearance behind for the plugs (surely though they are on the back but face downwards?).

Edit: I bought one for a 26", 400 Vesa mount for £24inc vat and delivery.

Try www.allcam.biz, under TV Brackets - a few there.

    .
the plugs go straight out of the back, not angled at all,it says in the handbook you need 60mm clearence for the air space, more likely for the clearence of the wiring,at the moment my wall bracket gives 25mm clearence
