Default Anyone recommend a good CCTV set up.....

Following on from this thread, some tw@t in Reebok classics has now run over the top of the car in the night.

I have a lovely footprint with accompanying dint on the bonnet, 2 footprints and three dints on the roof and another footprint
and big scuff on the boot/spoiler.

I've checked with the neighbours and none of their cars have been damaged so it looks like it's just mine that is being targeted.
I have no idea why as there's no one i've upset and nobody I can think of that would do anything like that. I would put it
down to kids but my trainers are size 9 and the print is bigger than that.

Maplin do a four camera CCTV system with PVR for a reasonable price, but reading through a few forums they recommend going for a professional range for the better quality cameras (for night use).

FFS. ********. You can't have anything decent these days.

I bought ours from Argos but TBH it's just about OK. Two cameras with movement sensors recording onto an SD card. The images are average with the video but it take stills as well which are much better. It's hopefully more of a deterent than anything else.

    No mate it's this one:

But with two cameras. I wouldn't reccommend it TBH. There are better systems around now.

You were lucky On my Veccy B some bar-stewards jumped on the roof and stoved it in the bonnet looked as if a herd of donkeys [arses] had gone over it,roof had to be cut off and replaced, and I loved that car SRI with half leather,
Strange how that was just before xmas as well.We should not have to put up with these excuses for the human race
