Just an update,my ebay wipers have started to make a right annoying screeching noise and the missus is giving me ear ache about it

So what i want to know if anyone else has had any issues with them apart from me? or if anyone can recommend a remedy before i order some Bosch one's..........

i got bosch aerosomethings.....amazing, the best wipers ive ever had

.....also ive heard friends say the cheap ones have scratched their windscreens so be carefull

Try cleaning them with some vinegar on a cloth

According to a VX service tech I was talking to a while ago, he reckons you should really change the arm to a later one which is designed specifically for flat blades if you decide to switch over to them.
It seems the very late vecs use a different arm to the earlier vec which used the standard wipers.
Maybe difference in pressures perhaps.. no idea.

I used to use the VX flat blades on my old vec-c and they seemed okay to me.

we have been known to use baby wipes to clean lorry ones when they screech and at 26" to 30" blades it works wonder and no worries that they will rot or deteriate
