    Default Xenon Light Bulbs

    Hey,

Thinking of a few quick and easy mods for the new year, apart from having my windows tinted, wanted some new headlight bulbs (didn't really want to go HID just yet) so found these on ebay...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=019

Has anyone used these before of have any pics of there car with them on? Just really wanting to get rid of the yellowness!

    Comments would be great guys!

    Cos

Brought those exact ones about a month ago!!

They get rid of the yellowness from the lights but i found them useless for actually seeing where your going!!!

I've left the sidelights and full beams in and replaced the dipped with Osram Nightbreakers, not quite as white as the ones in your link but a hell of a lot better at actually seeing where youre going!!!

They're crap. They run too hot, the paint flakes off in about a week, and they're so badly focussed they should be banned.

    Waste of prescious tungsten IMHO.

Halfrauds sell their "Extreme Brilliance" bulbs that are 90% brighter than standard and give a pure white light with no yellowing.

Normally stupidly expensive at £24 each but at the moment they're buy one, get one free plus it's 10% off instore at the moment.

I invested in a pair today and have just tried them out. Get a big thumbs up from me!!!

I've tried the bulbs off ebay in my old Capri and a Hyundai and they only ever lasted a few months. Not worth the hassle

Or you could save yourself some money and instead of going through a million different types of bulbs just fork out for the HID's to start with. Had mine in for a week now, and there really are immense - better than most of the factory fitted ones I've seen on the motorway on other models...
