    Probably, but not necessarily.

A lot of tyres designed on the continent, irrespective of brand are noisier on our roads. It's because the roads over there are finished differently, and don't have our weather issues, so the tyres don't need to be designed to be quiet.

My tyres are a cheaper brand, with the cost of wheels as well something had to give. They aren't too noisy, just don't work as well in the wet as some brands would. Will upgrade when I have some money! 2012 then!!!!

    Hope that helps.

Ive had budgets on mine this year, £50 a corner, and road noise is relatively good. Its also relative to type of surface, as anyone who has driven the A180 knows!!!

it depends on the brand,i have never realy had a problem with road noise with cheap tyres, but then i may have been lucky,it could also depend on the car, tyre size and the quality of the tyre, may be ok on a small car but no good on a heavier car

unless all the roads were resurfaced overnight, or you had a noisy squirral in the boot...... many variables, or improbables............

I can see you missed the common sense bit as that will help point to the most likely variable - unless a baby being born in the US will effect it too
