    Default Dim Headlights

    Hi all
    The headlights on my vectra are really dim, had the alignment done and the chap that set them sed they werent very strong, ive put brighter bulbs in but they are still crap, do I need new headlights?
    car is a 03 elite 20dti

    ask santa for a hid upgrade,it will solve all your problems,the pre facelift is well known for its shabby headlights.

    Sounds like standard Vectra headlights. HIDs are much better & light up the road & both verges which the standard lights fail 'dismaly' to do

    As above - aftermarket Xenons (HID's) are the ony way forward. People spend a small fortune trying all sorts of bulbs at 30 squid a time, but I took a gamble, splashed out of the HID kit and am glad I did now, as I can actually see where I'm going...

    My kit is the Vectra-C specific one from HID's Direct, but others are available...

    dont bother there sheeeet a poor mans HID KIT you will still be disapointed with the light they produce.

    mine the same so far on 3rd dif bulb set up ,,,philips in at the moment ok ish at night but rubbish if weather turns so looking at it spent the same as a cost of hids...
    so biting the bullet and getting hids after xmas just need to find out were best place to get them from .as some cheap kits dont suit the vectra c and bulb monitor
