I wish I was getting that.
Looking at possibly moving over to sky next month. I guess with that speed you have the 16mb connection ?
im on sky and can just managed 5.5mbps
It certainly makes a change from the 3 mobile broadband that we have been using for the last few weeks while we waited for sky to connect us. God that was slow.
We're with sky too, we had a letter a while ago though saying their prices were going up in April but if we take out sky talk they'd fix it for another year. One problem we've been trying to get talk for 6 months but our postcode doesn't match with BT so can't!
I hated being with sky, they ranked along side the worthless AOL, we were getting just over 500k download speeds on a good day, on a bad day we'd get 80k download, You need to understand urdu to get any benefit from their customer customer service, we changed over to BT and now get on average 8.5mb, not bad considering we're out in the sticks and the distance we are from the exchange.. I'd never go back to Sky purely on their lack of help and technical knowledge..
And also they were messing us about at this address, we needed the line activated as we were on cable beforehand and they kept saying it will be activated tommorrow, tommorrow came still not active, then it was next week, then they started to blame OpenReach for messing up the order.
Fingers crossed I wont be needing to call sky tech help. Even so i'm only paying £20 per month altogether for full sky+ tv package (except movies and sport), sky talk and 16mb broadband. So cant really complain.
