Perhaps I should have put the word 'proper' in the question?

I can`t recall my first album, certainly the first album I can remember playing in my car was Pop Art, by transvision Vamp, driving around with it on full tilt, sunroof open, tiger skin furry covers and the obligitory rally giants with the covers on *lol*

    Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms.

Bought for me by my Grandad. I wanted the smurfs album that had a guitar on the front, that's as close as he got, bless him. As it happens it's still a fave.
