Got a rough price for them on Saturday they come in about £77 a set mate.314mm don't know mate i'm going to the stealers today so i'll ask for you.
I popped to the dealers tonight to pick up my service parts and enquire about the OEM pads for the 314mm discs. They only sell them as a set (discs and pads £68 - part no. 93186299) So i got those. Can't understand why they don't sell the pads on their own? I could have bought the police spec pads for £77. (I think that's a bit much for some pads)
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but here's the info you wanted http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ght=314mm+pads.
Ah well nevermind. The discs that came with the upgrade are not brand new, and £68 for the discs and pads didn't break the bank considering what i got. Now i know for the future the part number i need when changing the pads.
I've just been into my stealers this week as I need some new pads, and I've been quoted £76.00 (9268709) for the police spec ones and
£76.50 (93176379) for standard vx ones (both +vat)
now I'm confused surely the police spec should be more expensive??
ive got a set of police spec pads im looking to sell ..ill post the part number tomorrow
Given all the info gleaned from the above posts and other threads, it seems that the standard 314 pads are VX part no. 93188113.
If you cross reference this part no. to the on-line Mintex catalogue, it throws up Mintex part no. MDB2764. As it happens, Mintex supply to VX (according to their web site).
Camskill stock Mintex pads http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...3b0s3396p26805 and this shows £40.58 delivered.
If you put in part no. 9268709 (police spec pads?) in to the Mintex catalogue, it gives you Mintex MDB2547, which at Camskill are £32.85 delivered.
So there is a way of getting the 314 OEM pads for less than VX stealer price. HTH.
