    Default Lowering springs worry....=(

Need someones views & jedi skills on lowering my 2.2 elegance...(non Sri)

It corners like a weeble & i am fed up with it...except when it has a full boot load of tesco shopping & people in the car!!. I have looked at going for a set of eibach springs & a full four wheel alignment, but am worried that it will make things worse, or even worse still make no diffrence to the handling at all. Could someone let me know what to expect if I did go for it? - Thanks in advance

    Don't worry my young padiwan....

Back on track, mine started with the same problem until i put SRi shocks and a set of Eibach Pro springs lowering it by 30mm all round.

The handling and cornering was a big improvement and i can now go around a corner faster and not fall across the car.

The ride is a bit harder but not back breaking.

Blimey - thanks for the quick response!

Could I get away with sticking with current shocks as they are fine, and just going with eibach springs & go from there?

    Would I still notice diffrence?

    Cheers for the help

I have got to the point where I am happy with the cars performance, but the handling is just pants

in all honesty mate, i would change the lot as the spring's will lower and the shock's will stiffen up the car all around....if i am right then your shock's are longer and softer that the b6's/B8's so lowering would only with spring's would be ok just not a stiff as if fitted with shorter uprated shock's....MATT's car has been lowered 40mm on just spring's (PI iirc) and is much better in the look's/handeling dept
