Superchargers are the way to go with the 2.2 for big bhp, here's a link so you can have a look.

They won't fit it in the Vectra C though... too many problems with the ECM/CANBus

What you want is the Dbilas Zorst manifold and a sports cat to give some torque. No one uses the Flowmaster on the 2.2, a simple K&N in the original de restricted airbox will do the trick. Cams on the 2.2 are a bit of a sticking point as you will actually loose power until they are mapped in. The problem's start with the mapping, specific 2.2 maps just aren't that common. You would have to go to a top tuner for a specific Cam's map. TMS and Courtenay Sport both do work for the 2.2. It depends on what you want to spend mate, but unless you really want to spend some big bucks your not going to see much in the power gains.

    I'm famous!!

Look at modifying the exhaust manifold and downpipe, this is where I noticed the biggest power differences after changing these.

Didn't realise you got shot of that as well. Mines still in the cellar gathering dust with the half polished cam cover and 2.4 manifold. Going to wait to get chain done and then may give it a bash again.

Well I've still got the BMC filter as it isn't mine, it was given to me on the provision I fitted it, need to return that at some point.

I have still got the cam cover that I haven't decided what to do with yet, polish or powder coat?
