just heard it on the radio as well and cant believe its been 20 years
I can't believe its twenty years. It is my ex-gf's birthday today, and my old man was picking us up from a club in Peterborough and it was on the car radio. Still shocking when you see the images.
God bless them all.
Their spirits will live on and we will remember them.

Any one been to the Memorial Gardens at Lockerbie? I have friends there and they said to visit it. about 11 of us went there on our annual tour of Scotland (all bikers). Its so sobbreing to see all the names of the people killed, and the fact that generations of family's were killed not just individuals. A very moving experience and worth a visit if your in the area.
I think it is something that non of us will ever forget. Time is a great healer. But the memory is far stronger. Thing is the older we get the faster time goes by.
Too right Ed thing is it only seems like yesterday to me,the older you get the quicker the clock seems to go round..sad thing is though you can't turn it back.
By the way the 80's are known as the decade of dissaters as Lockerbie was not the only one...Heres one thats springs to mind ...the Kegworth air crash 47 killed i think on that.

I did think of Kegworth when I read this thread. Not too far from where I bought my motor from. But as any disaster it is a very sad thing to happen. When you hear of these disasters, it makes you appreciate what you have got around you.
I went home from Edinburgh to Southampton on that day and went through Lockerbie on the A79 1/2 hour before that all happened. I work in the aviation world and it was a very sobering day for all.
