I hadn't realised either how long ago it was until I saw it mentioned in the news - simply doesn't seem like 20 years.

Yes Pan Am 103 ..if my memory serves me well ..cant believe they want to let the murderer free because he has cancer ..the 259 people on the plane never got the chioce or the 11 on the ground ..mind you i dont think he was alone ..enough said

Remember it vividly. I think the image of the nose, laying in that churchyard, is the one that anyone who thinks of it immediatley comes up with in their minds eye.

I would have been 10. My brothers girlfriend mentioned it last week, she was 3 weeks old when it happened and didn't know much about it. When I told her what happened, she was quite shocked.

I was only 9 at the time but i remember we drove south the following week and all you could see from the motorway was huge wooden fence's...
