    Default Insignia First Impressions

I think I am in love in this car already. I haven't driven it though and it will probably be a while until I drive one. I want those of you that have driven it to tell me what is this car alike. I'v already found out that the build quality of the interior is excellent but I want to know these things as well:

    - Drive comfort. What is the suspension comfort like, I want to know if this car is comfortable. How does it swallow holes, how does it behave on bad roads? *1

    - Sound proof. Does the noise from the suspension, engine and wind get into the interior? *1

    - Road hold and handling. This was never the Vectra's strongest side, what's it like now? *1

    - 2.0 CDTi replaced the 1.9. Which one is better, how? *1

*1 Compare it with Vectra C preface and face.

    is this considered a review:

They are comparing it with the Mondeo and they say the Mondeo drives better. Let me tell you something about the Mondeo. I had great expectations for that car because every review I read said that it handles like a dream....Well when it finally came the day for me to test drive it, I was very dissapointed. The Mondeo feels a heavy car, you can feel the weight in every corner, it feels like you are driving some SUV. It's far from bad, but its not good, and it's definatelly not a benchmark. This is all Ford propaganda and marketing, they are doing what VW has been doing for the last 3 decades.

We could talk about the interior of these two cars and I can tell you that Mondeo used cheap plastics, but I will stop here. This is afterall not a Mondeo thread.

Driven it, was invited by Vauxhall to Millbrook, all around the Alpine Course, and the Speed Bowl.

Drove the V6 Twin turbo Elite 4x4, the 2.0 Turbo 4x4 really nice although slightly cramped, and an annoying demister system I couldn`t turn off!!

Please bear in mind that pics and vids were "Stirictly Prohibited" at all times during the whole visit, and we could have been kicked out if we were caught. And there were Marshalls EVERYWHERE, as they were testing a prototype Lotus, and there was a Bentley Continental flying around too!!
