cd70 sat nav loss of 'yards' being spoken

I've heard a few people mention this previously that instead of saying like 'in 300 yards turn left' it says 'in (silence) turn left' that this is to do with the update disc. the new one 10/2007 corrects this problem.

i used the update disc that was going around

& mine works fine

mine was broke, now fine is fixed. only thing i've done to it followed by a test.

Hi, my dealer is going to perform this update next week hoping to correct this problem. I had it since the 04/2007 update. Took the dealer ages to find a solution but thanks to the forum I could steer him in the right direction

I had the problem after the 10/2007 updat.
Problem is now solved by reloading the update disc.
