Suspected broken spring.

Hi Guys, havnt posted on here for a while so hello and Merry xmas to all the new and existing members! Have been uber busy at work.

Anyways i think ive got a broken spring on my 06 Sri 1.8 thats done 44,770 miles.

When im going slowly and turning the wheel, or turning the wheel while stopped, i can hear a knocking noice from the nearside which im pretty sure sounds like the spring, cant think what else it would be.

What i need to know is, will this be covered on warrenty, or do i have to pay our for the repair? and if so, how much might it cost?

Any help appriciated.

More than likely wear and tear item. I paid £89:00 plus about £60:00 labour to have both front springs replacedin August

Mine just did exactly the same!

Went to move off the drive after being parked there for two days, and there was a strange knocking sound from the passenger wheel. The spring had snapped...

My dad managed to fix it, and is also replacing the drivers side spring shortly - Both springs cost £80 in total.

nows the chance to upgrade to Eibachs for £150 or there abouts for the set of 4!

But the dealers going to change it under Network Q warranty

just hope they fit the right spring elite, but with lowered sports springs & 18" wheel package on

That sounds re-assuring. If its broken theres a good chance it will be sorted under warrenty?

Just had a new spring fitted under Network Q warranty

just the bottom coil broke


But i was also told that Vauxhall are covering all vectra spring for 4 years now,
if you don't have a extended warranty

Only one spring, But i did try for two
As they said it low mileage
