cd40 and screen

if i bought a screen and a radio eg cd40 that have both come out of the same car then they should work almost as plug and play in the new car if both radio and screen are fitted.
if the radio was fitted but not the screen then you would get display safe and would then have to be tech 2ed in.
up 2 now i think that is correct. please feel free to correct me but like me many members have bought radio and screens from the same car and fitted them to there own with no problems
i have also bought radios and screens off other members off vectra c and never had any problems fitting them.
i take it that the radio and screen i bought off merikiito was not out off the same car as he claims.when you tell people that i dont now what iam doing might i suggest you tell the whole story first.
you have not said that i bought the screen as well.
