Yes as long as they are Tech2'd into the car as stated in the advert.
I even phoned your local dealer to ask them how much it would cost on your behalf.
All you have too do is go to Evans Halshaw and pay £45 to have it done.
I would suggest tho that you phone a few other dealers as £45 seems a lot as mine dealer does it for £20 as it only takes 3 minutes.
I am sorry you cannot follow the instructions given because if you did you would have a fully working CDC 40 Opera.
I have sold loads of things on this forum and if you ask other members you find I am not a con artist but an honest person.
Once you get the HU Tech'd in an apology would be nice!
I just hope that you follow the instructions as the unit is an excellent one and well worth the money. As stated in my other thread they cost £306 plus postage without the GUID and you got it for £150 inc postage.
I hope that this is an end to the matter and we can all move on
If I can step into this argument a moment. I believe Tech2 is only required if you are trying to install a stereo from a different car into another car and try and use the existing screen - called marrying them up. If you have the stereo and screen from the other car then its pretty much plug and play providing you remove the existing display and fit the one that came with the stereo as they are already married up. Some things might require tech2 (eg fuel computer to be enabled) but the tech2 procedure is only to marry up a stereo to a different screen - and that will only work if the stereo has been divorced from the original screen (which is called 'put back into delivery mode')
See the following thread on a CD70 installation that I asked about a little while ago.

You need to program the HU to the car using the car pass security code otherwise it means anyone can steal your HU.
I have yet to find a HU on a full canbus car that did not need to use Tech2. As I said it has to be locked to the car to stop people stealing it. A quick check with your dealer will confirm this as I already did this morning to Evans Halshaw who is TonySri local dealer

And yes the unit was put back into delivery mode, thats why i said it needed to be tech2'd into the new car in my advert on the the forum
