Seat cleaning

Anyone got any recommendations for deep cleaning fabric seat covers. Our toddler has managed to spill some milk onto his seat. We failed to notice so you can probably imagine the stink there is now.....not nice. Have got the seat out of the car and is airing in the garage, but wondered what to clean with. Any help appreciated.

Have you got some APC and a wet and dry hoover? If you haven't I would try warm water and a bit of persil with an interior brush. Use cloths to wash solution out and then dry with more cloths. I would bring it indoors to dry out and try mutliple cleans. It's the smell that stays rather than the stain.

Try dissolving some dishwasher tablets in warm water then give the seats a good scrub. The dishwasher tablets contain enzymes which breaks down the lactose and other stinky stuff thats in milk. This also works very well on pet urine in seats and carpets aswell.

Thanks for your prompt replies guys. Will try both of these suggestions. Have tried disinfectant but the smell is still there this morning, and its horrible. I think it has soaked well into the seat fabric and the foam cushion.
