I`v e just been to look at na Astra VXR and my Vec was appraised for trade in Specs as follows

56 Plate CDTi 150 SRi
24000 miles
Bilstein B8s all round along with Eibachs
Twin Exit Exhaust
BSR remap ( which i did nt tell him about )
Mint Condition

Saw an '06 plate black Vec SRi on a dealers forecourt yesterday for £5995 don't know what engine/mileage but that seems to sum it up

I bet they will but 1500/2000 quid on top of that price for there own fat wallets. I know its slow but sell it privately and put a add in Total Vauxhall magazine and mention the modds and I think it will sell

Well you can get an 08 Sri CDTI for £7999 so I wouldnrt expect them to offer much on Vec's these days.

A 57 plate Sri 2.2 180bhp with 14k and in new condition went on Ebay about 3 weeks ago for £6112.00 I know because I stopped bidding at the 6k mark thinking it was going to climb much higher than in fact it did.

SH vecs just are not fetching anything, my own 2yr old 56 plate 150 with loads of extra's is fetching around 5.5k or even less. That's well over £80 a week in depreciation from the new price I paid.

I agree. I got an amazing deal on mine I just bought, but a terrible deal on my Corsa-D I traded in.

Yours is a cracking car Penfold- wish I could afford it mate-will make someone a cracking car- try and sell it privately first at at least +£1k on that
