    Default cdti sump plug and washer?

    i have bought the oil (proper vaux 5w-30) and filter all i need now is a new sump plug and washer

    will this one be ok???

    Why not pop down to your local VX dealer. I always get my replacement washers from them. No doubt they will have both in stock.......... well at least I would have thought so any way. They might even be cheaper than ebay.

    ur plug will be fine mate and if its a copper washer heat in up then put it bk on problem solved

    i would prefure a new one as knowing my luck it will round or be a pig to get out as ive read a few horror stories on here about having to hammer and chissle the old one out so i would prefure a new one on stand bye if you know what i mean

    sump plug and washer in your ebay link is completly different to the one fitted to your car

    The CDTi plugs are totally different, they're a long hollow plug with a 13mm nut on the end. Just go to the dealer and get a new one, because the ones fitted to the engines from the factory are soft and will ring. The newer ones are a stronger plug and won't strip or ring.

    The newer type are yellow anodised. You can get them off any Fiat or Alfa dealer as well.
