has anyone else got the problem of ther drivers wing sagging in a vxr? wondered if anyone has had this changed under warranty?
it feels like the foam has gone soft and the leather is creasing up like mad. it looks sh*t!!

I would go for it under warranty, nothing to lose
are you getting too big for the seat!!!!!? only joking thats terrible on an 18month seat get onto your dealer or vhall cust services
I would think that would definately be warranty within the first year but you might have trouble at 18 months old, well worth a try though. I have noticed a few VXRs lately and they do seem to suffer from this.
"They all do it"...
It's noticable if you have only one errm largish person driving, and the other seats don't get used much. Same thing on the previous cars, though.
dv.
reno 5gt turbos were prone to this had 2 of them , cased by climbing over them to get out.. cav gsi i had did the same seat foam then about 8yr ago was £90.00 to cure it then labour if you dont do it your self
its maybe too many mince pies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mine went after 18months, but dealers changed it for me still. Duncan is right it only covered for 12months.
had this occur on my beloved [and later stolen...] RS turbo escort. i took both seats out, split the base [whose wing had collapsed] from the backrest and peeled back the cover. the sponge had split. i araldited it back together and used the driver's side sponge in the passenger side [where the repaired part wouldn't get too much stick] and vice versa. took me most of one day over a weekend. i remember sitting in a Recaro in my living room watching telly!
may not be this easy in a vectra C due to air bags and seat belt pre tensioners etc...
