    Default Denison ice link

Hi all fitted the above today...Got it working and have to say that it`s quite a good peice of kit.....I`ve wired it via the siggy lighter socket so it only comes on when the ignition is turned on....So was looking for a peice of advice from some teccy minded folk on here...Can i wire the constant wire into the Cambus loom of the cd30 stereo or is this not advisable.
    Please help........!!!!!!

I think the glove box light is constant live. How did you get to the wiring for the ciggy lighter? I've got an ice link to fit.

Hi..To get to the wires from the ciggy lighter just take out the ashtray that sits next to it and the plastic piece that goes round the bottom of the gearstick leather it just pulls off.....once you have done this jus pull the plug from the bottom of the ciggy lighter and that will give you plenty room to work..I found that the plug was tough to get off to start with but just persevere...And yes the glovebox light is permanent....

You can tap into the rear of the fusebox behind the glove box. That will give you a permanent live.

How do you think it works. When i first got it up and running i thought great all working but as soon as i turned the ignition off the radio reception died...Have since wired the purple wire to the glovebox light and the red wire to the ciggy lighter...Now it works without the ignition on....How did you wire yours in?
