Spanner Light

Hi guys, I need your input on this one, on start up in the morning the Spanner light comes on after starting and stays on for 10 mins or so.
I have a U480 code reader and this does not report any fault codes back, Although it does allow me to reset the MIL.

Can anyone suggest why it is happening? The car is running fine.

Since I have had the car ,the EGR valve has been replaced as has the manifold and it has had two flywheels in it, as well as a oil seals on the crank at both ends and on the cam shaft too.

I had the same issue on my Veccy a 1.9cdti 150 not sure whether yours is a diesel or not but had mine checked by a local garage and their code reader pointed to glow plugs, the vx dealer couldn't find the problem

which by the way were cheaper at the Saab garage
