    Default VXR spoiler damaged

VXR rear spoiler just turned up via tnt, really well packaged, took me ten minutes to unpack. Once unpacked I see it is split along the side. Got it off ebay and paid via paypal.

NEVER had any problems and I don't think it's anybodies fault but where do I stand? I've sent an email to the seller explaining but I don't see why I should be £95 out of pocket for a damaged spoiler.

    HELP!

tough one really.. depends if you paid for postal insurance or not...
or you could raise a dispute with paypal.. paypal always seems to take the side of the buyer anyway.. (the reason that i will not accept paypal due to people taking the pi 55)
pretty much garunteed to get your money back via paypal.. however it may take a while..
best bet would be to email the seller, which you have done anyway and await the sellers response!

Thanks for that, I paid for courier as requested, insurance wasn't offered. I'm not out to take the **** I just want to get my spoiler fitted! I'll wait and see what he says.

If you signed for it before you opened it... you might not have a foot to stand on... You signed to accept the item and its condition.

I never for one second thought that mate, that's the problem with forums you never get the tone of what somebody is saying. I know there are people out there who take the ****. This is just a pain in the arse that's all, it will get sorted some how.

see what he says first but paypal would give you a refund on the item
i think its a 30 day thing where both buyer and seller sort it out

Robbie was the spoiler clearly visible on the listing?

Its just that if it has been removed from a bumper roughly i.e. pulling at it,it looks as if its cracked and torn as the top edge would have been bonded but the bottom edge is not.

I got mine as a complete bumper but it had a small crack on the edge at the same place.

Hope you get it sorted mate...
