OEM Parking Sensors playing up

Took the car into local VX dealer in Telford yesterday as the drivers side headlamp bulb had blown, after I picked it up I drove back to the office & reversed into a parking space and noticed the rear parking sensors were not working (when I reversed into a bush)

There was a flashing amber parking sensor warning on the dash & neither front or rear sensors were working, took it back to the dealer & showed them the fault, mechanic took it into the workshop & they started working again, he tech2'd it & said all the sensors were ok. Took it back to the office & they packed up again, when I left the office they were working & by the time I got to the hotel they had stopped working once more, this morning they were working again but I've taken the car back to the dealer for further investigation

The dealer assures me it has nothing to do with replacing the bulb, but on a facelift does the headlamp not have to be taken out on the drivers side to fit the bulb due to ther being 'uk all room to access the back of the headlamp.

Wondered if anyone knew were the cabling is routed for the front sensors & they thought it possible that the cabling could have been somehow damaged or shorted/connector pulled half out.

I have the same problem too. Now they don't work at all and I have the orange warning light on and long beep from the front sensors every time I activate parking pilot.

not really, last time i get a friend to go around my back and stand against the sensors when i got reverse engaged and all of them was fine but again today when reversing no beeps only warning light at display and it look like this P>.

im new to this forum 30 minutes old, im a auto electrician on rangerover and see this fault regular on our vehicles , when the led flashes its a default mode to tell you your pdc is not working so you dont run over the cat so to speak.
you will with a intermitent fault like yours its normally a wire off one of the sensors rubbing to earth the only thing i can suggest is you try to isolate if the fault is front or back first by giving the harness a tug on front first , then do a ignition cycle to reset the parking ecu. then do the same on the rear the wires normally rub on the crash beam.
depending on the frequency the sensor ( below 50HZ ) if you put your ear against the sensor you can hear a ticking if the sensor is working correctly
