    Default Painting parking sensors

I'm away to fit my park pilot system to my vec and in the insrtuctions it shows a picture of a spray gun, an exclamation mark and a picture of a book/set of instuctions. Is there any special procedures required for painting park pilot?

Im sure there is a thread with somone spraying park pilot sensors but i can't find it when i need it

I read somewhere about metallic paint causing false returns. ANyway, painted mine with star silver and lacquer and they work fine - and no sign of it coming off in general use or when cleaning. I didn't prep them in any way, as I normally would on plastic, again for fear of interfering with the 'beams'.

Cheers lads, i have flame red so no worries with the metallic flake causing problems, would a coat of clear on the top cause problems? Have enough problems witht the rest of the car turning pink without the parking sensors doing it too
