whipped of egr valve today on inspection the valve was sticky,blew soot out with high pressure air line holding valve open sprayed with wd40 freed it up lovely,did not bother drilling removing and cleaning the other end as it was moving freely the amount it protuded,having fitted back to car it is now 40-50% more pull than previuos,so to get the other 50% do you think ineed to dismantle and clean solenoid,car was running s**t before.
