I Need some advice please!!!!!

Right i took the car into my local garage today cos i could here a brake disc grinding, so i got that sorted and told him my car pulls to the right and that i would like it tracked. he put it on the ramp and....................





I NEED NEW TYRES BALD AS COOT ON THE INSIDES, GREAT JUST BEFORE XMAS.

So what i wanna know lads is where and what tyres to go for. i only had these 6 months gutted

you need your camber adjusted aswell mate then your tyres wont wear out like that i have falken 452's on mine about £70 a corner but it depends on how much you want to spend!!!

As its xmas....why not just get some part worn's to tide you over for a bit then look into getting some on the cheap from the net or somewherE?

I've seen a few posting on here including the OP issue with tyres wearing unevenly due to camber problems. What causes the camber to change from the original VX setup when the cars new ? is it caused by wear on suspension parts or what. I've never had this problem with any of my cars, I'm pleased to say that when my tyres were replace recently they had worn fairly evenly.

Assuming the camber on the car was correct to start with... just wondered why it then goes out.

I'd go for part worns as well with it being near to crimbo , There's a tyre place near me , did me 2 michelin's , like brand new £40 each , 17" wheels as well

Probably a million things - simply driving it, running it in, wear on the bushes, weight of the car settling in the suspension, every time you go up a kerb, knocking it into a kerb (although you'd probably notice it...) speedbumps and many other things...

it could also like me i had uprated suspension and never had the camber redone so if matt has done the same that could be the reason for his tyres

I have 235/40/18XL dunlop sport maxx and they seem really good to me. £215 for two fitted a few months ago. I'd get them again.

Try camskill they do tyres cheapish but you have to find somewhere to get them fitted normally round £10 a corner HTH
