Drivers Seat

Hi,

I have a Vectra DTI SXI - 2002, and i have a rectangular shaped piece of fabric missing from the rear of the drivers seat.

The positions is near the top of the seat, still inside the seats indent before it gets to the top where the headrest joins.

Does anybody know if a panel is suposed to be covering the hole? The front pasenger seat does not seem to have any cover in the same position.

Can anybody shed any light?

Sound like where you'd cut for a DVD player maybe it had one and has been removed? I have the 2.2 DTI Sxi and have nothing like that?? hmmmm...

I will upload a picture later when i get back to the car. I was thinking it may have been some sort of DVD player as well.

When i purchased the car the garage said they had ordered the part, however when i picked up the car, they said it had not yet arrived, so i took the car anyway and they said would ring when it was in. However after around 5 phone calls of me calling and them saying "it has not yet arrived" i gave up and just lived with it!

I wonder if you can replace the whole back panel, may have to take a trip to vauxhall dealer.

I wonder what none existant part they were trying (or not as the case me be) to order. Perfect excuse to upgrade to leather
