    Default Help regarding twin exhausts

Ok, got a 52-plate 1.8 petrol SRi Vectra C. It currently has a single LHS exit exhaust, but I want the twin exit exhaust that I've seen on 2.0T/2.2/V6 models.

My first question is, can I fit a dual exit exhaust to my little 1.8?

If that's a yes, then I know I need to change the trim on the bottom of my rear bumper to the one with two holes for the exhausts, so my second question would be, does anyone have part numbers and approximate prices for the exhaust parts I would need and the black trim?

A lot to ask I know, but thanks in advance for any help!

    Jamie

Yes you can, alot of members have done,,MIJ do a custom exhaust for about £340 and are approved traders on here, the other alterantive is to buy a 2nd back box and fabricate that into you exsisting set-up,price probably alot cheaper, about £70 for a back box and about £100 for the fabricating.......

The twin insert is about £55 from VX but the VXR insert (9271537) is only £33,i know which one i'd go for............

I've been trying to fathom this out for a little while mate. I think by my understanding you can by the centre bok section (VXR) which has the splitter at the rear which allows you to put the VXR rear boxes on the back. Someone will correct me if i'm wrong i'm sure

As for the rear insert, i'd go for the VXR bit again from Vauxhall and get it sprayed to the colour of your motor. (That's what i want to do )

This might help for some VXR part numbers mate. LINKY

EDIT: Beat me to it again lol

Sweet, looks like I'll be going for the VXR insert; I'm sure it will look much better!

Hmm, I guess I'll get a second backbox and get my friend (he is a Technician at Thurlow Nunn Vauxhall in Holt, Norfolk) to fabricate it up for me...

    Merry Xmas
