...If I take out my current battery to replace it, will I need to put in any codes? (Radio code etc???) Just wondering, because I thought I'd have a look for it in my car documents... and its not there! DOH!
So what do I do now!? Any ideas??![]()

Probably radio code only.
Get new battery, connect a battery charger to the cables onto the old battery and turn on, disconnect old battery, remove, refit new battery and connect up, remove battery charger
Job done. Thank you.
So, Once I've started the engine, I can run the car with the battery disconnected? Where do I get the radio code from??
Which radio do you have? Only some need codes, others are paired to the car via Tech2 and should be OK with a battery disconnect.
You'll need to reset the one-touch on the electric windows (open holding the switch pressed, then close holding the switch pressed, keep close switch pressed once up until a click is heard - couple of seconds - do for each window).
don't you have to pretty damn quick changing a battery to avoid the alarm going off? seem to remember having to work as fast as a Ferrari pit crew mechanic when i changed the battery on my vectra B 2.5 v6.
never run a car with batt disconnected
Hence previous post.
