It's a bit cold for the usual madness.
I've got some guys staying in Luton on a training course that I'm running this week.
One of them asked if St Paddy's day was celebrated much in Luton. With 40% of the population claiming Irish ancestry, I suggested it was possible that a glass or two of Guiness might be inmbibed during the evening.
"So, the town's going to be full of drunk, scantily-clad, Irish girls is it?" he said.
"I wonder if the hotel can fit me in for another night................."

I told him that, if he needs the hotel room, it wasn't a very good night!

I read they're putting green dye in the fountains in Trafalgar square. Shame red ken doesn't do something similar on St Georges day.!

St Patricks Day ROCKS in my office - our biggest client is Allied Irish Bank, so most of our callers are in the ROI!!! This means most of the businesses are closed today, so we have hardly ANY calls, and a lovely quiet day. The only businesses which are open are pubs, so most of our callers are too drunk to cause much trouble!!!

Great, the wife is working a late shift at the local A&E today. Looks like she in for a battleground with p****d up kn**heads who want any excuse to get wasted and then turn aggressive and want to fight everyone who looks at them.

Good luck to all our emergency services today.

    Happy St Patricks Day !!!
