Angry Its an f ing joke

My mrs has a friend single mother 23 years old never done a days work in her life, claimed every benefit availible since 16 and 18, she lives with her nan and doesnt pay any rent or bills.

Now here comes the good bit!!!!

The job centre/benefits agency will now start to pay her £7.50 an hour to (look after her nan) (may I add there is nothing wrong with her) she still gets child benefit and now gets working tax credit.

Am I the only one who finds this sickening ive worked hard all my life and the one time ive needed to claim benefit they wouldnt pay as they lost the paper work.

    Oppinions please/

No I agree, cannot stand spongers who just pop out a kid to get a free house and benifits!

There certainly do seem to be some people who have 4 or 5 kids and make a good living out of it, while the rest of us work our nads off just to buy the kids christmas presents, dont seem right.........

There will always be people out there willing to take advantage. I know I'd prefer to be working, earning my keep, supporting my own family, paying my own mortgage (not living with nan!), and running my own car, than sponging off the government.

i have to travel 80 miles a day costing average of £50 a week fuel alone to earn not much more, on top i (like many of you guys) have a child (another on the way) and a mrs to support. my partner cant get work due to pregnancy and current work economics does this mean she should get child minders pay from the state, we dont get work tax credits as i apperentyl earn too much. we still have to pay for nursery as our child needs interaction with other kids as he has mild autism.

    what a joke.

Its an insult to those with qualifications and work like a pig to live a "normal" life.

I can see your point, I really can.

However, rather than be pis$ed off with those who take advantage, I prefer to take a look around now and again and be proud to know that "I did that" - through my own hard work.

i do agree with you all, as i had worked since i was 16 up untill 2 years ago, as i separated from my wife and I have the kids full time, i had my own house which i had to sell because i wasn't working any more, so know im on benifits and in private rent which the council pay for, plus its hard trying to find a part time job for school terms, as i hate not working
