Im thinkin about gettin a remap on my 2l turbo signum and wondered what the fuel consumption would be like as it only does about 22mpg round town as it is? would it be better or worse?
HELP PLEASE.

Seems Low, I average about 27-28mpg for mixed driving 20/80 motorway/town driving.
Obviously depends how heavy your right foot is! In theory a remap could increase your mpg although what are the chances of you not using the extra power?
I'm looking at a remap for the extra power, I expect to drop my average mpg.
That mpg is about right for just town driving, and should rise to high 30's on an 'enjoyable' long run. A remap should not increase your fuel consumption and it may slightly improve your mpg. It all depends on how much use you make of the increased power and improved acceleration. The 2.0T will really drink the juice if you put the hammer down, remap or no remap. I averaged about 23mpg during the first few months of owning my Edition 100, but boy did I have fun
ok thnks guys.
Looks like im gonna get the beast remaped.
