cracked the screen this morning thanks to a flying stone off a lorry and my screen dosnt have a top tint but would llike one just wondered if i can get one

Mine never had a top tint, when it needed replacing, they fitted one with top tint.

Doesn't hurt to ask if you can have a tinted one.....

are the top tints all the same colour?

Not sure on the colour i know mine is a black car and the tint is dark blue. Looks good

They did initally but around 2005 (ish) the cars stopped coming out the factory with the sun strip.

If you need a replacement screen, and want the sun strip, then you have to go for a pattern screen - the original GM screens available now won't have the strip.

getting mine thru the dreaded autoglass so no doubt it will be a pattern part but will be a top tint

windscreen replaced now with a top tint didnt realise how bad the screen was till you look out of a brand new windscreen

Yeah mine has the top tint. If mine ever went crack I would replace with the top tint!
