    Default Servicing 2.0 Dti Signum

    Hi all

been getting some ideas from some of you guys about why my siggy is poor in performance....im going to service it myself but was wondering if anyone had a check list of what i need to check and change on the car?

also is there a haynes manual available for this car?

Get genuine parts. I found my 2.0DTi Astra preferred genuine filters compared to elcheapo Fram jobbies. The oil stayed cleaner longer with the genuine filters. My local dealer would do good discount even without tradeclub card if I was buying a service kit. They now give me trade prices as I'm in there so often.

Think it was just over £30 for the filters and the oil (you need 5.5litres of 10W40), and took me about an hour to DIY.

stock servicing items are relatively cheap you should be able to get all your filters for £35-40 all in, also buy your oil from vauxhall

For the oil change you'll need T45 torx bit (sump nut) & a 36mm socket to get to to the oil filter
