Well perhaps someone could explain this to me, I'm costantly being made to feel like a failure at everything by someone who should support me, I've been out today and selected 5 items I feel my youngest would like, these being 2 Polly Pocket items a Bratz van and doll set, Barbie scooter and doll and an Animal Hospital playset, all 5 have been declined as unsuitable by her mother yet she offers no alternatives, I should be working right now, Xmas might be some magical period for other's but for me all it is is hassle and expense, and when you are the bank roll and get told no no no all the time it kinda hurts, so next year as of December 20th I will leave some money in envelopes and *issoff abroad for 14 days somewhere where consumer religion doesn't exist, is it me, or am I just living mission impossible, and for Spenney, get that birds knickers off pronto if you are in my boat as well, never mind about how the GF will feel, if she made an effort to look after you properly you'd not be considering a motel room would you.

Christmas shopping ....no problem my daughter does it for me and I do not even have to ask.

i hate it aswell, nothing i buy is ever right.....i just look on the net now and keep askin her if thats what she wants, that way its a lot easyer than being dragged round the shops

Christmas is always a stressfull time,everyone wondering what to buy each other and to be honest i don't look for anything and i think there's too much put on ppl to buy the best and spend more and more every year..... my friends have 2 kids and they've spent nearly £1000 on them,which i think is ludicrous,why oh why do ppl think they need to spend that sort of money and then spend all year paying for it.....

Just remember Ian its the thought that counts,have a great time next christmas where ever you choose..........
