used to get 38mpg when i traveled a bit to work each day, about 10 miles each way, now only do about 2 miles and getting 28mpg. on a good trip i was getting 40+

I have a 1.8 pre-facelift and my average according to the computer is 28-29, depending where I am and how I'm driving. But probably best to say that I'm not the most economical driver...

I get between 40 and 43, depending what happens on my commute

28-30ish for me as i do a 4 mile trip to work
do get more on a weekend tho on longer trips

The computer has never been reset on mine from the day it was new, so 28.2 mpg over nearly 70000 brisk miles.

1.8 LS 52 42k. I put myself in the 41/45 slot as I live in the country, walk into town and mainly use the car for long distances. To Devon this September (schools had gone back so lighter traffic) early start mostly motorway (cruise on at 65) clocked close to 50. Use it into town to collect shopping and boy does it drop!!!
