something stuck?

hi all when pulling off slowly it feels like the handbrake is slightly on still and there is like a squeak as if somethings rubbing like brake pad or when you leave the handbrake on does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Might be ceased rear handbrake cable or a caliper
Quite common on this type of design
If it is either, then ask them to check both, as they are related symptoms on this design

after a drive of a few miles, get out and feel the centre of the rear wheels, see if they are warmer than they should be, or one's warmer than the other etc, this would indicate the brake is dragging/staying on. this happened on my old mondeo, one of the handbrake cables had siezed. 3 days before i was selling it. to my wife's aunt. so i had to fix it. fantastic. £100 garage bill...
