Surely it's all up to the public mate. If they like it, they'll buy it. If not, something else will get to Number 1. All this rebellion rubbish is pointless - the public has spoken (so to speak...)

If people were going to buy it, they'll still buy it regardless of any 'campaign' going on. Okay, it 'may' make some people aware of the original and they 'may' prefer it and go and buy it - but if somebody liked the cover version and planned to buy it, they probably still would.

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the whole X Factor type stuff and the fact that each year we see the Christmas #1 inevitably being the latest winner, or even runner up!, is kinda depressing - but the morons, sorry public, who get 'brain washed' into buying said singles will still do regardless.

Just go out and buy the Peter Kay spoof single or Wogans 'chyarideeee' instead.

If they're no' 1, not the manufactured crap, that'll send them enough of a message.

IMO, All these 'make me famous' programmes are all the same - total bilge for stupid people who can't think for themselves and have to be told what to think, what to do, and when to do it.

Dear me. All full of the Christmas spirit aren't we?

For people that did watch it, there's no denying that the winner, Alexandra, had one hell of an amazing voice and her duet with Beyonce was phenominal.

She is the next Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey.

Now cheer up you moaning lot Ebeneezer's!

8 million people voted on this on the night and thats not including the ammount of people that couldn't get through, which is just crazy

so no matter how rich Mr Cowell is getting of this you are not going to stop all the X Factor fans buying this ,alexandra single has already today been announched as the fastest selling downloadable single of all time.

so i think trying to get people to burst the X Factor bubble will be like this
