    Default 314mm Brakes

I'm looking to price up an upgrade and wanted to ask; other than the discs, calipers and pads, is there anything else I should get. I heard people talking about the braided hoses.

    What else do I need?

    Thanks guys

New hoses are optional, I didn't bother & the brakes are great.

In addition to your list you'll need new brake banjo washers, mounting bolts, thread lock & brake fluid. Can't think of anything else off hand but someone else will be along soon if I've forgotten anything.

You will also need new carriers to hold the bigger set up, VXL list them as seperate from the calipers.

Where can you get the new banjo washers and mounting bolts from? I didn't get them with the kit. Would the stealers have these?

Yeah, get them from the stealers mate, about a fiver for the lot. Part numbers are on here somewhere, just had a quick look but couldn't find the thread.

Those pistons look a long way out I hope the seals are ok

Give Vx plenty of notice for the parts - it took my local dealer a week to get the banjo washers on special order - they are not stock items apparently

Do you have a part number for the banjo fittings and bolts? Or will my existing bolts hold these calipers in place?
