    Default 1.9cdti Tuning Help (again!!)

    Seems I'm not alone here!

After reading through this section, and seeing leeds_cdti's post, I'm also stumped as to what box to go for!

I'm veering towards the Diagnostic one, after reading peoples comments on it, but don't know what is the 'best' one to go for!!

Help!, and sorry to ask a question that I can see has been asked a zillion times!

    Dave

The tuning boxes are basically the same matey. There isn't a better one in my opinion. We've had different boxes giving different results on different cars (if you see what I mean).

The boxes all increase the pressure in the Common Rail slightly, thus providing more power and torque. If you're still in warranty and fit one of these, remember to remove it before visiting the stealers.

Nothing more to say really. Don't buy a cheap one from fleabay, use one of the Approved Traders on here.

Contact Abyss (username on here) as he's doing a lot of work on these boxes and also contact Diagnostix (username on here) as they are our approved trader on here and is currently developing the next generation of tuning boxes and is in my opinion the best in the business.

    Hope this helps bud.

Thanks AJA - that helps a bit, I think! lol

I just hear people mention Diagnostic, others Powerclick and then Tunit as well - saying that one is better than the other. I know it's personal preference but it's trying to find which one is my personal preference!! lol

Tunit - circa £500. (not my preferrence purely on cost, although it is a fully digital module and pulls very hard)

Diagnostix - circs £200 (my personal preferrence as my car loves it. They do analogue and digital systems. They produce their own boxes and sell PowerKlick boxes. Car also pulls very hard)

Abyss - circa £200. (PowerKlick seller also. Members have had good results from his boxes. Sells Analogue and Digital boxes)

I'm much in the same boat, but you wont know till you try. Go to one of the meets and see it some kind member with the a certain make will let you try it on your car (you'd be surprised)

i know Abyss will let u try b4 you buy and i'm sure diagnostix and tunit would entertain a prolonged test drive.

thats they key - you need to try it on your car to know which one you prefer.

I've got a Tunit box I've been trying to sell forever!!!

I'm open to any REASONABLE offers (around £200)

If you live up north then you can get it custom tunned by tunit and get the most out of it.
